North Laguna Creek Park sits at Jacinto Avenue and Center Parkway, right at the edge of my focus pocket. It is a true community park: a pond, walking trails, ball fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas, all set along the Laguna Creek corridor.
Schools
Homes here feed into the Elk Grove Unified School District. In the North Laguna attendance area, elementary students are served by Barbara Comstock Morse Elementary or Irene B. West Elementary depending on the exact street, with Edward Harris Jr. Middle School and Monterey Trail High School beyond. Boundaries can change, so I always confirm the current assignment for the home you are considering.
Easy commutes
Highway 99 runs along the neighborhood’s east edge. From North Laguna Creek it is a short drive up to downtown Sacramento, east to Highway 50, or west to Interstate 5, and Sacramento International Airport is an easy drive across town. The corridor was built for getting around.
